equation: surface energy balance approach for evaporation
brief description:
The physically approach for calculating soil evaporation originates from the idea of solving the equation of heat flow at the soil surface boundary according to the law of conservation of mass. In order to use this approach a variety of quantities have to be calculated which are described in the following equations. The quantites are further described in the list of quantities. The heat flow q_h can be calculated in two different ways accounting for different given input data.
